- I have an Amiga 3000T and 4000 and can only justify keeping one. So, I'd
- like to sell one of them -- whichever one will bring in the most
- favorable price. The systems are as follows:
-
-
- 1. A3000T/030 6MB/1.4GB
- -------------------------
- Motherboard Rev. 6.1 A/W 313194 FAB 313193
- Kickstart 40.68 (OS 3.1 in ROM) -- can include 2.04 ROMs
- Workbench 40.42 (Installed on each HD, NO DISKS) -- can include WB2.05
-
- All the latest chip revisions:
- SUPER BUSTER -11
- RAMSEY -07
- SUPER DMAC -04
- WD SCSI -08
-
- Processor is original 68030 at 25MHz, RAM is 2MB chip + 4MB fast SC ZIP
-
- 300W Power supply + a LOT of internal expansion space (email me for
- details -- I haven't got them counted right now..) make this a great
- machine for video work..
-
- The system has two HD's installed:
- HP C2247 (1.2GB Fast SCSI-2 -- HP claims up to 20MB/sec)
- (Gets 3.8MB/sec on Fastlane, 3.4MB/s on internal SCSI sync. mode)
- SEAGATE ST3283N (240MB SCSI) (2.4MB/sec ?? can't remember)
-
- This system has been well-cared for and is very clean. I have all
- original manuals and boxes. Can ship after March 22 (when I'm home for
- spring break). If I sell this system I may have to keep the HP drive for
- my A4000 -- I'd like to replace it with a cooler low profile drive that
- fits better in the A4000, but if you want the system immediately I'd have
- to keep the drive..
-
- 2. A4000/040 18MB/---
- ------------------------
- Motherboard revision 'B', date on case is April 13, 1993
- OS 3.0 (in ROM...)
-
- All the latest chip revisions (except KS ROM)
-
- Processor is a full 68040 on a rev. 3.1 A3640 CPU card w/ heat sinks + fan
-
- This model has the bigger 145W PS, not the 75W....
-
- Installed RAM is 2MB chip + 4MB fast, but I have 16MB coming within the
- next week to make this an 18MB machine.
-
- This machine has as yet no HD of its own -- I'm using the above two
- drives on my Z3 Fastlane. Until I get a firm arrangement on selling one
- of these I'm reluctant to buy a drive -- if I sell the A3000, I will want
- to buy another low profile SCSI2 for the A4000; if I sell the A4000, I'd
- keep the SCSIs (since the A4000 can't use them w/o the Fastlane) and
- either leave the 4K bare or put in an IDE drive if the buyer wants.
-
- The system also has some slight cosmetic damage (bent drive bracket,
- missing drive bevel), but all components are in great condition and the
- machine works flawlessly.
-
- -------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- I am very flexible with arranging specific deals -- feel free to email me
- with any offer and proposed system configurations. Just remember I can't
- ship the 'T until I get the boxes from home in two weeks, and if it's the
- A3000T that gets sold, I either need time to get a new HD for the A4000 to
- copy my stuff onto or I need to keep the HP gigger.
-
- As for software, none is specifically included, but the HD's have several
- hundred MB's of largely PD software, all the common AmiTCP apps, SS 3.4 +
- Mac 7.0.1 + 7.5, CyberGraphX, MUI 3.3, etc., as well as some commercial
- programs, which I prefer to retain ownership of..
-
- PRICES
- ------
- I am not sure what the going prices are now; I would like to get $1700 for
- either system, but feel free to email me with any offers (even really
- stupid ones).
-
- I will also NOT pull off chips (3.1 ROMs etc.) to sell individually;
- don't ask.
